Angelique (Angel) Dias had the ultimate life. She was a top model, she had the car, the money, the clothes and the shoes to go with. Until the night a drunk driver hits her car. The accident leaves the one side of face scared from forehead to chin taking away her looks and livelihood. At the lowest point in Angel’s life, she makez a pact with the devil, her soul for her looks. The devil agrees and stokes a bargain with angel, to get her beauty back, she must work with Lucifer for years. She will become a bounty hunter for demons who owe Lucifer their soul!
Sexy Jacque Toussant, demon from hell (literally) and Lucifer’s nephew, gets the task of training Angel. Jacque wants nothing to do with humans. He was a warrior not a trainer. He soon realizes that Angel is not a normal human so to speak and demons can’t control who they fall for. The action was non-stop, the passion was scorching, and the banter was set at a furious pace.
The only little down side was the need to describe in detail, what angel was wearing, (maybe because I’m not a fashion follower, I didnt understand the need to tell me all the designer’s names)
There are many secondary characters, so I’m hoping we get many many books.
Give this book a try, especially if you love your men alpha and your women kick ass fierce
