Book Review 👩🏻‍💻

When Rochelle Ransom auditioned for the dating show Luring Love, she had big plans for winning the prize money to help her favorite charity–and if she won the hot bachelor’s heart, even better. But at the last minute she finds out the hot bachelor is her ex-boyfriend, Grant Drake. Desperate to keep her distance from him, she’ll do anything–and everything–to get voted off.

Years ago, Rochelle broke Grant’s heart, and he’s out for revenge. There’s no way he’ll vote her off.

After all, vengeance is a dish best served red-hot…and on live television.

When her hilarious antics to get kicked off the show escalate, Grant’s reminded why he fell in love with her the first time. Now he isn’t sure which might be more fun… Seeing how far Rochelle is willing to go to get away or how far he will to keep her forever

How to Lose a Bachelor by Anna Banks is set as a reality show.

Rochelle is one of the top attorney’s in her area, but she wants to do more with her life. She has always volunteered her time and energy to help women less fortunate than herself, but when the shelter needs more help, drastic measures are needed. Rochelle decides to join the show. If she wins, she’ll donate all her winnings to the shelter.

What starts out as a hair brained scheme actually turns into reality when to her horror she is picked to be on the show.

Rochelle isn’t looking for love after being dumped by the love of her life, but spending time with a hot Batchelor won’t be too much of a hardship, and if she wins, then it’s all been worth it.  But the first day on set, she realizes that her plan isn’t going to work…..

Yes, you’ve guessed it, the Batchelor in question is none other than her ex, the man who broke her heart. When she tries to leave the show, the producer encourages her to stay on the show and to make him miserable, it’s pay back time.

Grant has harboured bitter feelings for Rochelle for years, he totally blames her for the end of their relationship, so when he sees who one of the single ladies is, he thinks that it’s time for her to jump through a few hoops.

So the fun starts, each person sets out to make fun of the other, and In doing so, mayhem and chaos will reign. How to Lose a Bachelor was a sweet and funny story and made me chuckle at odd moments.
