Been a while since Iโve read anything like this.
Very confusing at first, then once all the characters were in place, the story was easy to follow.
Abrial is a female wolf shifter, but unlike other stories, females are treasured, but in this book they are commodities, they are weak, a burden, and are used to trade and barter with.
She has been searching for her sister (given to a rival pack) for years now, and finally she had found her ….. but Rowenโs (Abrialโs sister) freedom will come at a price !!!
Marcus (the dragon with the zodiac sign of the Bull) The Dragon has been dying slowly ….. they (his brothers and sister) have been withdrawing from the world. Nothing holds their interest, and until a certain wolf comes into their lives, not even a prophecy of their impending death will stir their reaction. Marcus is drawn to the woman, his dragon is fascinated with the she wolf, together they want forever with Abrial.
The story is all about what we wouldnโt or would do for loved ones. Itโs about family, blood relegated or the ones you form along the way.
Marcus and his siblings are a mixed of dark and light, good and bad. But the one thing they are have …. a love for each other, they have been together for a long time. They have lived and fought for each other, it seems there is nothing they wonโt do for each other.
There is also a demon in the mix, heโs after something, and as the story ends, it leaves us with a missing brother, a wolf who wants revenge and me wondering if I can download the next book ๐
