Book Review 📖

Dark Crime …. A Carpathian Novella by Christine Feehan

Back cover ……

Blaze McGuire knows who killed her father and she has merciless plans for payback. Until a phone call from a seductive stranger pleads with her to wait. Retribution is in his blood, too. Now, he and Blaze will be united in the blood of the guilty. Tonight, vengeance is theirs.

My Review……

A short book, but boy does it pack a lot in.
Blaze wants revenge, a group of thugs under the instructions of their boss, beat and killed her father. They were all each other had (Blaze has a Best Friend) he taught her everything, and she brought sunshine into his life.
Blaze has rigged the bar that they owned, as soon as the thugs come in ….. BOOM!!!! She is really expecting to come out alive, but she will have her revenge.
Ringing a number her father had been given, Blaze goes to leave instructions and the deeds to the bar (there is no way she’s going to leave a chance that the bar will fall into the hands)
But fate has a different plan for Blaze ……

Maxim is a Carpathian Hunter/warrior and now joint nightclub owner (not by choice) Maxim and Tariq (his business partner) are aware things are going on in their area, (they know a bar is being targeted by the undead!! Why??) But all that fades into insignificance when Maxim hears HER voice ……

Maxim and Blaze make a great team. Figuring things out that will make you go …. 😱the vampires have a cunning and horrific plan, and it’s coming to fruition.
Dark crime brings us a whole new breed of Carpathian warriors ….. known as the Ancients (they were warriors for Mikhail’s father, so that makes them REALLY old)
