Weather was its usual mixed up self, we had a cloudy start, but ended up being hot and muggy.
Delivery was handled with surprising efficiency today (probably because our new manager was in, and cracked the whip)😉 the usual running around getting salads prepped for the start of the meal time rush. And it was busy, broken up by a child using his hands to grab raisins from a container, and a guest using the same ladle to dip into each pot of sauce!! So after throwing both the raisins and the sauces away, I began to prep for the evening shift.
I swear I work in a crèche some days, a couple of the lads like to start a mini food fight in my area
(cucumber and croutons are the usual weapons of choice) and after chasing them out of my area, I get down to my prepping.
Had a lovely evening with my best friend, pizza was delivered (it was suppose to be Chinese, but our usual place was closed!!) and we polished most of it off.
we’ve started to watch “Orange is the new Black” on Netflix, it’s a good series, we’ve only watched a couple of episodes, but I can see us watching all the seasons.
Will have to catch up on laundry and food shopping tomorrow, and maybe visiting my youngest stepdaughter and her son.
