Day off βοΈπ

Not so hot today. So I managed to get a fair bit of shopping done (still couldn’t find what I wanted though) needed a pair of trousers for my holiday. And I had a walk around town.
Popped into my favourite shop……

The UK book stores are such a disappointment compared to the USA. They have huge selections of paranormal romance (all my favourite authors) we are lucky if we get a few shelves, and then not many of my favourite authors are stocked (it seems a lot of books are ones customers have ordered and not collected.
popped up to see my daughter and give her a tidy up.
Lunch with a friend and a really nice chat.
How did you spend your Thursday?

Hi
Iβm an avid reader.
I also write reviews for the books I read.
Come in and say hi.
You can find me on GoodReads, Bookbub, and NetGalley π©π»βπ»
I also review on an awesome site The Reading Cafe (run by Barb and Sandy)
So ........
More about me π€¨
Iβm almost 50 π€« Iβve been married (for 27 years) I have a 30 year old son.
I had a daughter, I lost her a week before her 21st birthday π₯ and itβs been 5 years since sheβs been gone (and not a day goes by that I donβt miss her)
I work as a salad π₯ chef π©βπ³ in a restaurant, havenβt been there long (before that I worked in Tesco) a large supermarket in the UK.
I also like to make craft items (and if your really lucky) and Iβll try to post my efforts on here π
My daughter loved butterflies (so part of my blog name is dedicated to her) Iβve taken on her love of butterflies (I have several tattoos) so Iβm probably going to throw quiet a few butterflies on here π
I LOVE PENGUINS π§ πso Iβm also going to be putting a few on here (my library holds a few) π
