I had the doctors today.
A few weeks back I went and had an appt and was sent by the doctor to the hospital about my chest (I’ve had a cough for about 5 weeks) she wasn’t too concerned, but as I’d already had antibiotics and an inhaler to try to clear it, she wanted to see if my chest was clear)
So I did ……
Get there early (I hate to be late) but I should have waited outside. It was FULL of poorly people😷 (yes I know it’s a doctors surgery) but I’m not full of cold, but after spending enough time In there, I’m sure the airborne germs 🦠 will get me 😉
And then there was the screaming baby, I know you need to let babies cry, but this one was exercising it’s lungs pretty loud!!!
And why does the smelliest man in the world need to sit next to me?!?! 🤢I know they sometimes can’t help it, but THERE ARE OTHER SEATS!!!
I couldn’t breathe through my mouth as I swear I could taste it!!! 🤢
I couldn’t put my earbuds in as I might have missed the call. And reading on my phone (love a portable book😉) would have drained the battery on my phone. So I sat there in a smelly and loud surgery waiting area. I was in hell !!!!
And why did it feel like everyone else was going in before me?!
Getting out of the doctors was easy once I got the all clear from the doctor. Walking to work was like a breath of fresh air😉
Work was busy as usual (we have a promotion on over the next few days, so it’s going to be busier than usual)
