NICKY (BRATVA BLOOD BROTHERS SERIES) BOOK TEN by K. J. DAHLEN
Book Review 👩🏻💻
My Review…
I’ve read one of the books from this series (Kosta) and really enjoyed it. So I was looking forward to reading this one. Reading out of order isn’t usually a problem, but I think these books run in order, so I’m missing a few details…..
Nicky is the son to the head of the Bratva, but I don’t think Nikolai and Nicky have known each other for long. Their relationship doesn’t seem all that close. He’s his father’s IT man, nothing gets past him on the computer, you want it, Nicky can find it. Except this hacker …..
Serenity has always been on the outside. Her mother didn’t want her, the nuns that found her, cared and clothed her, but didn’t really see to her emotional needs. All Serenity wants is for someone to love and care for her. But she knows that won’t ever happen. Serenity is an anomaly, her skin is paler than pale. Her hair almost silver, and her eyes a strange opaque colour.
But she’s good with a computer, and after being captured and beaten by an old enemy of the Bratva, Serenity escapes and meets Nicky.
Serenity brings out a protective side that Nicky didn’t think he had (he cares for his sister, and is beginning to care for his father and his step family, but thats it’s different to what he feels for her)
But her enemy is also his family’s enemy, can she help bring him down?
And there is also another threat to their happiness. Will they ever get to live without looking over their shoulder?
