My Review……
This was another of my favourites in this series.
Joley the troublemaker, the attention seeker, the firebrand. But deep down she wants a home and family, yes she has her sisters, her parents and extended family. But she wants a family of her own.
Her gift is songs, she can influence people with her voice, a little like Abigail. She’s a world renowned singer, and has her own stalkers!!!
Ilya has his own checkered past, a bodyguard for someone he hates. He longs for a quiet life, but knows he will probably die trying to kill his target. Then he meets her……
They’ve met in a few previous books, and sparks have flown ever since. She tried to zap him with her magic, he turned it back on her. And now she wears his mark.
The guy Ilya is working for, is the type of man you don’t cross. He wants Joley but Ilya will make sure that never happens.
Joley tried to deny the connection they have. He speaks to her at night (telepathically) wearing her down, she does want one night, she wants forever, but the man he works for is dangerous.

This book sets the spin off series up, we have one more Drake sister (Elle) and then it’s onto The Sisters of the Heart or Sea Haven. The women are sisters of circumstance, but it’s the men in their lives that are link!!!
