Final full day of rest. So I took it easy. We had a new washing machine delivered (old one broke a few days ago, so had to ask landlord for a repair or new one, we got a new one ๐
Plumbing that thing in was a nightmare!!! We had to cut the old one out, and then make cuts into the kitchen units to feed the plug through!!!
Getting the ok from the landlord was fun (she was in the middle of nowhere with no signal!!) but we got the ok (eventually) and with a few minor adjustments (and a couple of swear words) they plumbed it in. Thank goodness I’ve only got a few wash loads to do (mainly my penguin pj’s) ๐
Also managed to read and finish off reviews. ๐๐ป
Sent a gift via amazon to a dear friend of mine. She lives in the US, and usually I’m on top of Presents, but this month got away from me, the cold I had didn’t help. So I hope she gets a kick out of the gift I chose.
We met on FB in a group, I’d recently found an author, and I’d wanted to find out more, so going into the book group seemed like a good idea), I got chatting to a lovely lady, we then started chatting on private messages, and the rest is history ……
We’ve met twice in the 10-11 years we’ve known each other. After the private messages, we began to write to one another, mostly about the books we were reading, then about ourselves and our families.
And as it’s her birthday today. I’d like to wish her a happy Birthday ๐ฅณ
These are in my garden at the moment. Every time I see them they make me smile, I’ve been meaning to take pictures for the last week or so, taking a breath of fresh air, (been a couple of days๐) I took a picture.
