Friday’s Post

It’s so quiet first thing in the morning. No kids going to school, no cars driving past. It takes me back to when I was a kid living on the farm with my family. All you can hear is nature. The stillness is peaceful. And then you remember why……

This virus can be a good thing if we learn from it, to take time for ourselves, to slow it down and appreciate the things we do have. I miss the interaction with family and friends, but I’m loving the slower pace of life.

Payday today, and usually I’ve divided it up (bills and things) and what’s left is mine to spend. But as I’m not going out for a while, then it’s being saved. But saying that, there are a few books I can get on amazon 😉
