This is a hard hitting story, full of heartbreak and fast paced action.
Airiana is a genius, she has the ability to read the air around her, it warns her of danger, but sheโs never really believed in her ability, she thinks sheโs going mad, her brain wonโt shut down, sheโs going to end up like her mother,
Maxim is another Prakenskii brother. Heโs come to take Airiana to see her father, but under the cover of darkness and over his shoulder?! Thatโs not the normal way to meet a parent you didnโt even know existed!
Together they fight to save their lives and the lives of the children they find aboard the boat. But this isnโt a normal boat, women and children come aboard, but the donโt get off it alive!! Rich men come aboard and play out their fantasies, they are disposable toys!!
Maxim is here to do a job, find the girl and take her to her father, thatโs it!! But she gets under his skin, he has a job to do, heโs not here to rescue children, heโs not here to hold this woman and feel emotions, sheโs dangerous, and when faced with danger, Maxim usually kills it!!
Itโs the same with all the brothers. They are all trained killers. Separated from a young age, beaten and abused, unable to feel emotions, assassins with deadly accuracy. Until they find the only woman to bring them back from the edge of darkness.
Lots of fights, lots of scenes I wish I hadnโt read, but this series just keeps getting better. The interaction between Airiana and Maxim is great, first the animosity, awareness, trust and of course the passion.
