Bound Together (A Sea Haven) Sisters of the Heart Series Book 6 by Christine Feehan
Description……
For five years, Viktor Prakenskii has put his life on hold to take down the world’s most feared motorcycle club from the inside. But carrying out the insane violence and seeing their exploitation of the innocent has brought his traumatic past roaring back. And there’s only one cure. To see the wife he left behind…
Blythe Daniels never thought she’d see Viktor againโafter he murdered her stepfather and left without a word. She rebuilt her life without him, becoming a personal trainer and physical therapist…becoming strong enough for others to lean on. But when Viktor comes back to Sea Haven, he’ll make Blythe question everything she thought she knew about good and evilโand the dark desires of the heart…
My Review……
The final book in this series. It will bring all the sisters of the heart and their men into this battle. Bringing a few surprises along the way.
Viktor was torn from his family at an early age, watched as his parents were murdered, feeling helpless as his brothers were taken from him. All separated, all kept away from him. Then for the next ten years beaten, abused and tortured. Turning him into an assassin, a stone cold killer.
But he made a promise to his father, he promised he would always look out for them.
Blythe is a cousin to the Drake sisters, sheโs been a constant fixture in the sisters of the heart series, I got the impression she was always a little distant with them, and after reading her story, I now understand why. An alcoholic mother who always betrayed her, always belittled her, and never showing her any love.
Blythe met and fell in love with Viktor, it seemed her life would finally be a good one, then it all went to hell……
Five long years have passed for both of them. Neither knowing what was going on with each otherโs lives. Viktor hoping Blythe would take him back, and Blythe just trying to get through each day.
I loved this book, we got to see the brothers finally reunite after almost thirty years apart. We get to see all the Sisters interact with each other too. And the best bit, the Drake sisters and their husbands are in it too. Itโs a goodbye of sorts, but it also sees another spin off series โTorpedo Inkโ take shape.
I loved the connection between Blythe and Viktor, he made me want to hit and hug him for most of the book.
The battle near the end was intense, action coming in from all angles. The scenes of abuse were hard to read, but it only added to this story. The sadness of loss, reading those pages had me in tears. Plenty of laughs to counteract the sadness. And sex scenes that will blow your mind.
Reading about the Prakenskii brothers getting their happy ending was a great way to end this series. All being moulded into killers, but finding redemption, peace and love with women who accept them for who they are. The women who were also fighting demons (victims of violent crimes) they needed men who could protect and love them for who they were.
I canโt wait to read the next series.
