My Review……
Ice is hunting a monster, in fact a pair of monsters. These men take children from parents (after killing the family) or off the streets and sell them to the highest bidder.
Ice knows all about monsters, coming from a school in Russia, he knows all about sadistic men and women who liked to hurt children.
Growing up he learned quick, or the lessons were painful. They turned him into the killer he is today.
Here in Las Vegas they might be here to celebrate the wedding of Steele and Breezy, but they are also here looking for a ring of abusers.
Soleil is scared, her fiancé is slowly taking over her life. And after a fight, she looks at him in a different light. She never wanted to come to Vegas, and certainly not for a “quickie” wedding…..
Tracking the men, Ice spots a woman who changes everything for him. Just looking at her makes him want to get to know her. But he’s here for a job, and anyway, why would she look at him?
Soleil needs help, he hit her! And she’s done. But where to go? Then remembering the conversation she had with a random stranger, Soleil heads for a bar, any bar…..
She’s here!! Ice can’t believe it, his princess is actually in the biker bar. What’s she doing here? And how can he talk to her, without scaring her away?
It’s a thrilling ride, from there on, both attracted to one another, both wanting marriage. (Ice wanting to keep his princess, and Soleil wanting to escape the crazed fiancé) a drunken night turns into a wedding neither will forget.
Will the dawn bring regrets? And will her fiancé let her go?
And don’t forget the ring that the brothers are tracking. They want answers and they will demand retribution for the children who were taken.
I love this series. And I’m glad Ice was given his story.
These are hard reading, abuse of minors is no easy subject to write about.
And Ice’s penchant for having sex with people watching, she’s ok with it, but a couple of incidences put her in danger and so Ice is feeling guilty. He’s going to have to tell his wife about his past. And he’s not looking forward to it, he thinks she will judge him!!
Love catching up with the Torpedo Ink crew it’s always good. Watching the series evolve and getting more information on each brother is always exciting. And trying to guess who is next is part of the fun.
