My Review…..
This is the prequel to Sinclair’s book (The Billionaires Fake Wife), but it can be read with out reading the others.
I have to admit I’m really not keen on the way the MC uses Sienna, I find it cruel and mean. But bear with the book, it’s going to be worth the anger you’ll feel towards Jace.
Jace really is a complex male. After finding his best friend with his mother, Jace moves away, only coming back to attend the funeral!
This story with the best friend is a tangle of emotions and history. And I have to admit my heart did soften towards Jace.
His relationship with his father is very hostile. It’s been five years since they’ve seen one another.
Sienna is a character, she’s working towards her own business and keeping her little sister in college. But the startup money remains elusive, until Jace Walker!
Agreeing on a week with him reminds me of the film “Indecent Proposal”
She is very attracted to him, she feels both hate and the need to protect him! She feels very unsure around him and that’s not like her at all.
She knows she shouldn’t sleep with him, that could be totally disastrous, but time and time again she’s drawn back To him!
The wedding that Jace and Sienna are attending is for his cousin. It’s also a request from his father (why do I get the feeling there is something going on?)
Sienna has a dear friend attending the wedding also, and it’s causing Jace very unwanted emotions. Jealousy! And that’s not good, he can’t be jealous, can he?
The twist to the story I sort of guessed, but the fall out wasn’t, and it was epic!
So give Jace and Sienna a chance and pick up the book.
