Billionaire Wolf’s MateDate: Shifters MateDate Agency (book 5) by Serena Meadows

Description…..

As a billionaire wolf shifter and part of a clan that could destroy her life, I had to protect her.

I became obsessed with Janice without knowing that she was my best friend’s sister.
I didn’t know she was off limits.
After a dating agency matched us, we just couldn’t stay away.
Even though that first date went horribly.

Things got even more out of hand when her brother told me that my marriage contract was with Janice.

Marrying her meant involving her in the clan.
It was the one thing I dreaded the most.
But I would’ve died before letting her marry another man.
And so, I did what I had to do.

Our love was forbidden.
Janice and I shouldn’t have been together.
But she was my mate… and I was going to claim all of her.

Note: This is Book 5 in the series “Shifters MateDate Agency”. All books in the series can be read as standalones with a HEA and no cliffhangers.

My Review……
Reggie has not wanted anything to do with his family/clan for a long time. He hates what they stand for, and so moved away, breaking all ties, vowing never to return, but never is a long time…..
Janice never really knew her father, her mother is now dead, and sick of being left on the shelf! All her friends are dating or married! The only date she’s had recently was with Reggie, and that was a disappointment! She needs something in her life to change, well that’s about to happen, big time……
The books are loosely linked, but I don’t think you need to read them all, but if you do, then I’d advise to read them in order. Only because most of the characters are in all of the books (and you don’t want to spoil the surprise)😉
Reggie gets the news that his brother has died, and that his father wants him home to take over when he’s gone! He’s also issued with the bad news he was hoping never to hear, once he’s home he will face to marry the girl the council have chosen for him! That is not happening!
Janice is shocked to find her brother on her door! (Shocked because she never knew she had one) she wants to go home and meet the father she never knew she had, maybe now she can have the family she always dreamed of!
But dreams and reality are two different different things, her father sees her as a bargaining chip, and her stepmother is vile! She also has to come to terms with the fact she came from a life that hold no meaning for the poor that live in the town! They are sold and treated like cattle! And now she has to marry a council members son! That’s so not happening!!
And when both Reggie and Janice realise they will be married to one another, then chaos ensues, Reggie never realised the mother and baby he helped escape the life in his village would be the lovely woman he has dreamed about now. But how can he convince her that they are meant to be together? She won’t believe him, she can barely look at him!
This series has definitely taken on a darker tone than her usual books. But I’ve enjoyed them immensely.
The previous book characters keep popping up, and entwining themselves into this book.
It’s a great short story to curl up to.

Hi I’m an avid reader. I also write reviews for the books I read. Come in and say hi. You can find me on GoodReads, Bookbub, and NetGalley 👩🏻‍💻 I also review on an awesome site The Reading Cafe (run by Barb and Sandy) So ........ More about me 🤨 I’m almost 50 🤫 I’ve been married (for 27 years) I have a 30 year old son. I had a daughter, I lost her a week before her 21st birthday 😥 and it’s been 5 years since she’s been gone (and not a day goes by that I don’t miss her) I work as a salad 🥗 chef 👩‍🍳 in a restaurant, haven’t been there long (before that I worked in Tesco) a large supermarket in the UK. I also like to make craft items (and if your really lucky) and I’ll try to post my efforts on here 😉 My daughter loved butterflies (so part of my blog name is dedicated to her) I’ve taken on her love of butterflies (I have several tattoos) so I’m probably going to throw quiet a few butterflies on here 😉 I LOVE PENGUINS 🐧 💕so I’m also going to be putting a few on here (my library holds a few) 😉 <img src="https://d1vbo0kv48thhl.cloudfront.net/images/featured_book_reviewer_big.png"
