Another great story. And perfect for a valentines afternoon listen 🎧

Read really well by Wen and Kai. Although it’s only 5hrs long, you get the whole gamut of emotions.

Joy is a hard worker, good at her job, the perks are great, but not as good as the view from her office! Joy has a huge crush on her boss! She’s in love, and often has dreams of him sweeping her up into his arms and professing his undying love to her!

I loved Joy, her humour had me chuckling as I listened.

And when Drake (her boss) asks her out, it’s like all her dreams have come true. But the wording Drake uses has Joy on edge! It sounded like a proposition not a date! She needs her friends opinion now!!

Both Lauren and Kayla were in the first book. Kayla in fact was the main character in that book. (His holiday pact)

It’s a series, that’s best read/listened to in order, but if you just read/listen to this one, then it won’t matter.

Sam is narrated by Wen Ross, I could listen to that man read a dictionary! His voice is magic!

Sam is an IT guy in the firm that Joy works in. He’s got the biggest crush on Joy, but he knows she won’t look at him, she’s in love with Drake!

We listen to Joy battle with her emotions, she’d love to date Drake, but is worried it’s not going to go well, so she turns him down! And from there it all falls apart…..

Being dismissed from her job was not what Joy had expected!

But Sam comes to her rescue and offers her a job.

The audio was just so much fun to listen to. I’m a big book fan, so I’m going to get this for my kindle.

I loved Joy and Sam together, and I loved listening to Wen and Kai.
