Description
He’s a Ruthless Stranger. One I can’t see, only feel, thanks to my friends who make a deal with him on my behalf.
No names. No personal details. No face to etch into my mind.
Just him, me, and an expensive silk tie.
What happens in Vegas is supposed to stay in Vegas.
He warns me he’s full of danger.
I never see that side of him. All I experience is his Russian accent, delicious scent, and touch that lights me on fire.
One incredible night turns into two. Then we go our separate ways.
But fate doesn’t keep us apart. When I run into my stranger back in Chicago, I know it’s him, even if I’ve never seen his icy blue eyes before.
Our craving is hotter than Vegas. But he never lied.
He’s a ruthless man…
”Ruthless Stranger” is the jaw-dropping first installment of the “Mafia Wars” series. It’s an interconnecting, stand-alone Dark Mafia Romance, guaranteed to have an HEA.

My Review……
The start of a new series, and as I’d recently read and loved her Behind Closed Doors Series, I was eager to see what Mafia Wars had in store for me.
Aspen is a recently divorced thirty-eight year old. Men are off her radar, being used for her money was bad enough, but to find out her ex had a younger woman with fake boobs and a huge diamond ring that she’s paid for was the final straw. So her best friends take her to Las Vegas and arranged a night she’d never forget…..
Maksim is travelling to Vegas for a bachelor party, he’s trying to forget the woman he’s been dating on and off for too many years, he’s wasted so much time, but she gets him. But after she said she won’t commit, Maksim has had enough, and said goodbye. He never expected to meet a woman in Vegas, and he never expected for her to rock his world!
Coming back to Chicago is coming back to reality for both Maksim and Aspen. Spending two amazing nights together has them yearning for more, but they know it would be impossible.
But when fate lends a helping hand and puts the two loves together, can they really stay away from each other? Agreeing to meet each other, they are going to see where this takes them, but first they need to talk! Maksim hinted that he’s dangerous, and when he tells her what type of danger he’s in, he’s worried that he’s going to lose her!
It’s great to read about the slightly older generation, thirties/forties. It’s another book/series about family and close friends, and that makes me smile, as there is nothing worse than not knowing if the rest of the cast get stories 😉Superbly written by Maggie Cole, she’s becoming one of my “go to” authors, and I can’t wait to read about his brothers and cousin.
