My Review
It’s dark, very very twisted! But it keeps you glued to every page.
The main characters Sobek and Matteo are perfect. Bek is twisted and very dark, a surgeon to the mob, a cool and calm individual under fire, he never misses a beat or an opportunity but in his mind it’s all for the greater good. He wants Matteo in an image he sees in his head, and goes about it in his own twisted way!!
Matteo is the son of a powerful crime boss, next in line to the throne, not quite the criminal mind yet, but with time he’ll become a feared man.
The intense feelings Bek has for Matteo borders on obsession! And the way he “conditions” Matteo is brutal, it continues until Matteo breaks and becomes the man Bek has always known him to be.
Taking the power from Matteo’s father and placing Matteo in charge is part of Bek’s grand plan (to know the full extent of the plan, your going to need to read the book) 😉
There is a lot that some readers will find disturbing, so read the blurb and be warned, it’s not for the faint of heart!!
Wren Snow otherwise known as Skylar Snow is a great writer. I would have liked just a few more chapters (a sign of a good writer, or just a little rushed? You decide)
The series is written by a few authors (none I’ve read)
I’d recommend this book to lovers of dark and twisted, for those who like their romance on the dangerous side!!
