A lighthearted read that will have you chuckling throughout the book.
Zilveren (or Z to friends) is an elemental dragon shifter. Adae is a human! So how did their two worlds collide?
Well, Adae is a vet, and she’s dragged into Z’s world when he stumbles into her practice asking her to remove a few bullets! After removing the said bullets, he’s about to beat a swift retreat (much to his dragon’s annoyance!) when the elves that shit him attack outside the building! To keep her safe, and to contain the fact she saw him shift and the quick skirmish, Z absconds with Adae!!
This is the first book in a new series, and Amazon already has details up on the next one (well just a date and title!) and I’ll definitely adding it to my calendar.
I’ve read a few books by this author, but this is her first attempt at paranormal romance. And I loved it. The author has brought her internal monologues into this world, and those are what will have you chuckling. Z’s dragon is usually a quiet entity that resides within Z. But he’s making his feelings known about the lovely human (or sleeper as they are known) it’s convinced that Dae is it’s mate, and won’t stop pestering Z!! Dae is convinced that the battle, the big dragon and anything else on her nightshift is just a sleep deprived dream!! That can happen when you pull double shifts at work and live on nothing but sugar!
But it’s not a dream, and Dae finds herself in the shifter world!
Can she convince Z to let her return to her world and the practice she loves? Will Z’s dragon try to win over both his other half and the female that has captured his heart? And why do the elves want the young dragon shifter that started this adventure?
