I loved the names of North and her brothers (love unusual names) What I didn’t love was the manipulation of her father! He was a controlling and ruthless man! He put North through hell almost all of her life! He used his daughter to control her life and the lives of her brothers, using like a commodity, she was nothing but a tool to use……
Jed is a disgraced FBI agent, or is he? His mission is to infiltrate the Billionaire Ranch and find out if North is a corrupt as her father was!
His sense of right and wrong is tested when he meets up again with North! He feels like she’s innocent, but she is in charge of the family business, so she must be as guilty as her father was? He needs to know if she’s guilty or innocent. But he can’t tell her the truth or the nature of his business…
There is an instant attraction between these two main characters. But both are hiding secrets from one another! Meeting at her fathers funeral stirs up a lot of feelings from her past, she knew Jeb before he left town, she’s always had a secret crush on him, but with him being so much older than her, North never acted on it!
