My Review

I love coming back to this series time and time again, it’s like catching up with old friends. It’s letting them tell you the gossip and “oh by the way …..” Maura, Addy, Gigi, Ivy and Coco have been best friends forever, they started up a club (Magic Willows) that only they are members of, there is a book that holds all their hopes, dreams, ideas and heartaches. One by one each girl has fallen in love, and now it’s Coco’s turn …..

Coco is our feisty, no nonsense friend, who will tell you straight and never mince her words. We’ve gotten glimpses of her past from previous books, and I’m surprised she grew up as well as she did coming from such a dysfunctional family! And her sister! Far too demanding and needy! So maybe that’s why she’s ok with just being a fake girlfriend to Roman?!

Roman Amato was just too cute for words. A perfect father, doting on his little boy. The new coffee shop owner fits all the right criteria for Coco’s family to like him (I might have done the opposite) so after a little talking and negotiating a contract is agreed upon.

So, on paper (well the contract they wrote up for their FAKE Relationship) they click, but with the chemistry these two have, it’s a wonder that the contract didn’t go up in flames! SMOKING 🥵 🔥 so why not date for real?

This book will have you laughing till you ache, and crying till you look like a total mess! Roman’s little boy will melt your heart (and possibly your ovaries explode) 😉 Coco’s family will have you sniggering and rolling your eyes at their antics. But the friendship she has with her BFF’s never falters and they are always there to help her out.

Can this career originated young woman just slow down for a little while and enjoy life? And is Roman the guy to help her?
