My Review
I’ve not read anything by this author before, but by the time I finished this book, I was thirsting for more.
Raylee is a no nonsense character, she knows what she wants. Strong and send assured. That’s because she’s the daughter of a high powered man, he’s made sure she’s never wanted for anything. Malcolm is in charge of an Irish mafia group in Spain. Use to having people obey him and never questioning him. So when an opportunity to get revenge on his rival using his daughter, Malcolm seizes the chance to exact his revenge!
The chemistry between the two characters is explosive. But trying to win both Raylee’s heart and trust isn’t going to be easy for Malcolm. Can he prove he’s out to protect her when her life is in danger, or is it just a ploy to win her trust and kill her father?
The plot is good, the action is a good pace. This book is filled with betrayal, anger, angst and passion. It makes for a great read, I just wished it had been longer (maybe that’s a good sign of a good book)
I’m definitely interested in going back to the beginning and read the previous books, and I’m also hoping we get more in this series.
