My Review….
As this is my first audio review, you’ll have to bear with me …..
I did think it wouldn’t be too much different from my normal reading. But it was, they don’t read as quick as I doπ
I’ve loved Jane Austen for years, her writing has always moved me. Angst and troubles for both the heroine and hero.
Elizabeth Bennet is an opinionated young woman (not really the done thing in those days) she will debate and have healthy discussion with anyone, but that gets her into trouble, young ladies should be seen and not heard, men find her harsh and her put downs aren’t the done thing.
Now the book is better. The audiobook is a great way to listen whilst working, or on public transport.
Nothing naughty that will have you blushing or snorting out loud.
Kate Beckinsale has a lovely reading voice. And I can see her in a period drama quite easily.
