So Daddies have Littles?! It’s a term that I’d heard but not read about. I wasn’t sure if I was ready for role playing, but I was willing to give it a read…..
Ellie is a baker, she’s finally turning her dream into a reality. After her beloved grandmother dies, Ellie discovers that she is the recipient of a large amount of money, so she invests in a store, hoping to bring happiness and cupcakes to everyone.
Garrett owns a lot of property and takes his role seriously, so when he notices one of his properties has lights on when everyone should be in bed, Garrett investigates…..
Apparently these authors are well known for their “little and daddy” books, this is the first one I’ve read. And although a few parts made me cringe, I enjoyed most of the book.
After reading so many dark romances with bullies and overbearing males, it was a refreshing change to read about a male who is the complete opposite. Garrett wants to care for Ellie in every way, he’s very protective and extremely caring. Ellie was a proper ray of sunshine, her outlook on life was very positive. After losing the only person she ever loved, Ellie was determined to make a go of her dream.
There are a few other people in this book, and I’ve already matched a few up for further books, I’ll have to see if I’m right 😉
It’s sweet, it’s hot in places, and it did make me chuckle in places.
There are a few more books in this series due out and I’m probably going to read them, but I’m not sure if I’ll ever venture too far into the daddy and little genre.
