Taken (Cyborg Liberation Book 1) by Maddie Taylor and Morganna Williams
Description
After suffering the cruelty of humans for five long years, he should despise her.
But the smoldering intensity of their connection won’t be denied.
The moment I saw the fiery-haired beauty, I knew she was destined to be mine.
Taking her, however, is impossible.
Despite the temptation after three seemingly endless years in space, as leader, I must protect all twelve females in the colony. Their DNA is imperative to saving our cyborg race. I laid down the law to my men: look but under no circumstances touch.
Except once I inhaled her intoxicating scent and felt her lush curves against me, my resolve vanished. I had to have her.
Not for a day. Not for an hour. But forever.
And damn the consequences.
Publisher’s Note: Taken is the first book in the Cyborg Liberation series. It contains fast-paced action, drama, and sexual scenes that may not appeal to everyone. If you don’t like firm-handed, dominant cyborgs who never hesitate to lay down the law before making it all better, you may want to pass on this book.

My Review
With the destruction of the female cyborgs, Freeman has the task of trying to maintain the peace and the continuation of his race.
(Whilst fleeing the females ship was targeted and destroyed)
Answering a distress call wasnโt on Freemanโs list of things to do. But answering the call might just save his comradesโฆ..
They need female DNA to start the process of creating female cyborgs. And what happens to be on this planetโฆโฆ. females.
One in particular calls to Freeman, heโs putting it down to not seeing a woman for over three years, but we all know itโs more than that.
Shay is the unofficial leader on the small planet sheโs called home for over three years. Her grandfather and father worked on the planet, so when a deadly virus wiped out most of the population, the remain survivors turned to Shay.
Theyโve been abandoned by Earth, they have to face facts, there wonโt be a supply ship or a rescue ship coming for them.
They need a miracle (Kristyn the security officer would say they needed coffee more!)
Being abducted wasnโt on Shayโs schedule. Even when she gets a look at her captor! Being asked to give DNA to start a new race isnโt sitting well with Shay, so you can bet sheโs going to give her captor hell!!
So can Freeman get Shay to cooperate with his plans? And if she does, will he be able to let her go?
And what about the survivors on the planet? And will he be able to keep his men in line once they find out he wants to keep Shay for himself? (Thereโs been talk of taking the females as slaves/captives)
Loved meeting new characters, especially Ransom.
Ransom is his second in command (and has no filter) some of his comments had me chuckling, whilst other comments had me wanting to throw something at him!
Canโt wait to see the female who gets to take him on ๐
Am I ready for the next book? You bet I am ๐
