Knot a Chance (Knot Yours Omegaverse Book 2) by Sinclair Kelly
Description
Time heals all wounds…
Yeah, I call bullshit. My grief still bleeds out each and every day no matter how much time passes.
I’ve managed to make a new life for myself by helping my bestie run TheOmegasGuide—our viral social media account. We support freedom of choice for all designations.
Though I’m starting to wonder if having a choice is really all that great. Locke’s up my ass more than usual, acting weird, and…is my hulking Beta friend flirting? I’d be lying if I said I didn’t secretly hope he’d ignore that whole friend-zone thing. Then there’s Cohen—the commanding, broody Alpha who wants nothing to do with me, but that I can’t stop thinking about. Of course, I can’t forget Bastian—the sexy stranger I ran into—literally. With his big, warm, mouthwateringly gorgeous body and haunted brown eyes, I’d love the chance to get to know him better.
The intensity of our chemistry is explosive, but they’re not a pack, and I’m not looking for another forever….right? No. It hurts too much and goes against everything I believe now.
No relationships. No commitments. This Omega needs to rediscover just who she is and can’t fall into anything serious.
Nope. Knot a chance.

My Review
Secrets/heartache and a second chance at a HEA.
This book is the second in the series it’s not necessary to read book one before diving into this one, but it will give you a little more insight into Arden and the men who love her…..
Arden barely survived the loss of her pack/family a few years ago, there is no way she will ever smile or move on, she can’t/won’t open herself up ever again, it hurt too much last time!!
But life has a way of giving Arden a second chance at happiness, if she’s willing to grab it….
Locke/Cohen/Bastian are all totally different from one another, but each character adds something unique to this story.
Locke has been in love with Arden for years. But he’s firmly in the friend zone (something he wishes he wasn’t so firmly stuck in) a Beta with such a big heart, there is nothing he won’t do for Arden….
Cohen works non stop, for him there is nothing else that gives him the buzz. A pack isn’t something he ever wants (well lately his minding is swinging back and forth) …..
Bastian is a silent sentinel, a guardian, a protector, and he does it from the shadows. But Bastian carries a secret, that if Arden was ever to find out……
Locke I absolutely loved, he is a teddy bear, ready with foot rubs and chocolate. But rile him up and he turns from a mild mannered Beta into a beast!
Cohen is Crew’s brother (Crew is mated to Bexley, from book one) and with a cop’s job, he knows any minute he could be hurt in the line of duty so he’s not looking to settle down EVER! But he has a soft side few rarely get to see.
Now Bastian…. When I found out his secret, I wasn’t sure he was good enough for Arden, but as you read his side you can’t help but root for him, you hold onto the hope he gets the girl and a pack……
Arden is a great character, strong, resilient and the one person you would want on your side. Her backstory with definitely have you grabbing the tissues, you understand her plight, you just want to hug her. You also want her to find happiness again…..
Arden is finally convinced to have a little fun without commitment and certainly without Knots and Alphas involved. But Knots have a way of forcing issues (especially when it’s just Alphas that have them!) That’s why you need a mixture in a pack, Alphas protect, Betas keep the peace and the Omega is the Center of their world. (Omegas go into heat and it takes the knot of an alpha to satisfy her) 😉
Loved this book. It brings all the emotions to the surface, and when they bubble up be prepared for a torrent of tears and steam 🥵
Will Arden be able to finally move on from the loss of her previous pack/family? Will Locke ever admit his feelings for Arden and pursue his happiness? Will Cohen realize there is more to life than work? And can Bastian come out of the shadows and tell Arden who he is and admit his feelings? (That bit had me going for the tissues 🤧)
The angst comes in the form of denial on all sides, it’s not instant lust like the last book, but there is enough romance to keep me turning the pages.
Highly recommend this book and the previous book (“I think knot”)
The third book sounds really interesting, and I can’t wait to read it. Reece sounds like a character who I’m going to love getting to know.
