You’ll need tissues and a bar of chocolate the size of your head!!
There are definitely triggers you need to be aware of (and it starts with a hard hitting subject within the first few sentences!) it’s a rollercoaster of emotions and feelings.
This has to be my favourite in the series. I loved Reece, she was amazing. A strong independent female, who could hold her own, and even when she’d been knocked down, she still wouldn’t give up.
I also wanted to kick the chief’s a$$! He was sooooo stubborn. He’d known Reece for years, in fact he’s her daddy’s best friend. But he never looked at her until one night she threw herself at him!! He then avoided her for the next ten years!!! But now she’s on his town, he has to think long and hard at where he wants to take their relationship now…..
And there are plenty of men to choose from in this town, and luckily she doesn’t have to choose
My favourite character had to be Burke, he was just so shy and adorable. But when his omega is in trouble, he definitely turns into an alpha!
It’s not necessary to read in order, they happily stand on their own. But, if you read out of order, you’ll spoil a few surprises. It does tie up a few things, and it also gives a possible happy ever after to Jaxon (he’s appeared in the previous books) he’s not affiliated to any pack, but he’s totally into Reece, so if he wants to be in her life, he’ll have to be accepted into Chief’s pack (which could prove tricky)
😉 it’s an Omegaverse story, so there are Alphas’, betas and omegas, galore, including the two previous stories (and we get some interaction from them too)
And when the trouble finds Reece will she run, or will she let the pack look after her? An old job wants her back, and won’t let anyone (including Reece) get in his way!! And let me tell you he’s not a nice guy!
I loved the ending in this book. It ties it up and the series really nicely.
A highly recommended read.
