What a Freaking Book I don’t know where to start.
I haven’t read any of the authors other works (but believe me I’m heading straight over to Kindle for more). Apparently both Liv and Adam were in a previous series (Rebels of Sandland) and have interactions before, but I didn’t get too much of that, so I’ll have to go back and read those 😉
A story of a group of vigilantes that keep the streets clean of filth that live there. They have their own set of rules, and hope you never need their help or are on the wrong side of their justice. There is so calling for the cops, they execute anyone they deem criminal!
Olivia is such a great character, strong, sassy and kind. But scratch the surface and we have a woman filled with self doubt, always thinking she unlovable! So when Adam proclaims her as his, she’s unsure of his motives. Testing, teasing Adam seems to bring out the confidence Olivia never thought she had.
Adam is the leader of the these vigilantes. Known as “the Psycho fixer” Adam Is the guy to approach if you need something doing. Lately he’s gotten bored and needs a new distraction! Spotting Olivia, Adam is totally gone for her! She’s going to be his and only his! So when she’s tells him she’s not interested it only spikes his need for her more! He sees this as a challenge, and Adam loves a challenge, he also gets what he wants. And he wants Olivia! So he stalks her (I don’t know if it was creepy or not! We know his intentions, and I did wonder if he’d snatch her straight off the streets!)
But as with most anti-hero’s they just need the love of a good woman to bring out the protective gene they hide so deep. But that’s not to say they don’t have issues, angst and conflict. They do. Oh boy do they ever!
I don’t want to spoil the next persons Reading enjoyment by telling you what goes on. But it’s a fast paced, action/romance that will leave you wanting more. And let’s hope the next book isn’t too long in appearing!
