Seven deadly Sins by Erin Coal
Description
Seven Deadly Sins is a place created to allow ordinary people to explore their deepest desires without fear or judgement.
Amy Jenkins has used her visits there to build a successful writing career, creating tales of passionate romances despite never experiencing one herself. But someone is angry about her success and is using her books as inspiration for a wrathful killing spree.
Detective Hayden Whittaker is still recovering from having his heart torn to shreds and won’t trust anyone. Amy is the new lead suspect in his investigation and he can’t resist trying to tame the feisty writer that is weaving her way into his heart.
Thrown together Amy and Hayden must work as a team before the killer’s wrath hones in on them.

My Review
Amy is a writer who frequents a BDSM club for her research, she’s not heavily into the scene, but she’s a lot more open minded than the detectives that knock on her door to interview her!
Hayden is the detective assigned to the case and he’s a great character, a little surly to start with (and rather narrow minded) but he seems like an ok guy (and yes I did wonder if he was the killer at one point) 😝
There is almost an instant attraction between the MC’s (main characters) but as Hayden is recovering from a recent breakup, he’s a little wary, but there is something pulling him towards Amy, throw in the fact she’s a suspect/witness to the case he’s on, this could prove disastrous for his career. But Amy is totally into him, he’s like a character from one of her books, and her libido is doing overtime whenever he’s around.
Hayden and Amy soon start to work together to find out who is trying to frame her! Using scenes from her books to murder people Amy knows, the finger points to her, but Hayden isn’t convinced (well at first he was all for arresting Amy) so they need to find evidence before the killer strikes again!
There are a few side characters that need stories, and an additional character that I fell in love with.
I was drawn in from the first words and could put it down until I was done. Nicely written and pretty well thought out. For a first book it’s a really good start to what I’m hoping is a new series 😉
Will you guess who the murderer is before Hayden and Amy do?
There are no fade outs in this book, and all the smexy scenes are there for the reader to enjoy 😉There are a few naughty scenes, but the story is mainly a murder/mystery, and your kept guessing, even throwing in a few twists to throw you off the scent.
