My Review…… 

Storm is Rath’s brother. He doesn’t live with his brother, but comes once a year to help maintain the cabins and keep the peace between the fighting Cougars. He isn’t keen on the rough living, but it’s his duty to help his brother. 

Gabriella isn’t happy, she’s locked in a cabin, after seeing men turn into cougars and her brother try to kill them, then watching the cougar kill her brother. And they believe she is in league with her brother. (He was in some Organization that hunted shifters) So they want answers, so locking her up until she is ready to talk seems like the best plan of action. 

Storm doesn’t believe Gabriella didn’t know her brother was a hunter. She must have known. She’s friends with Rath’s mate, so did Lillian tell Gabriella something that triggered the hunters suspicions? And as he is also drawn to this female he is doubly suspicious. He doesn’t want or need a female. He’s happy as he is, but as the other cougars begin to descend and begin to fight, it triggers Storm’s need to protect and mate with this maddening female. 

Gabriella and Storm come to a tentative agreement, she’s not allowed to leave the forest, but Gabriella will do as she wants, and she wants to get to know Storm. She didn’t know her brother was a hunter, and was horrified when he told her all he planned to do. 

So as the challenge goes for mating rites build up, Storm has to contend with the cougars and his growing feelings for Gabriella.
