My Review
Sailor can’t believe what just happened! Her husband has just walked away from her after selling her to some stranger! You can’t sell people! She’s not property, she’s a person, and she’s terrified!
Keir doesn’t do long term, you’ll be lucky if he does one night! But the beauty he has in his arms is now his to do with as he sees fit!
So dark! Be warned there are triggers that might upset some people, so read the warning before grabbing this book.
Be prepared to loathe Keir as he sets about breaking Sailor’s will! It’s all just a game to him! I had my fingers crossed for most of the book. I wanted Sailor to grow a backbone and leave Keir, I also wanted her to find her husband and smash his face in!! And when she finally found her spirit I had to cheer. Loving the wrong man got her into this mess, can playing the game get her free of her captor?
There are also forces playing in the background in this book. People who want what Keir has, his power and now Sailor!
This is the first book in a duet, and I think the next book is out in November 🤔 it’s going to be a long wait as the ending has a great cliffhanger!
If you like your hero’s more of a villain then, this book is definitely going to tick all those boxes.
